Job Description

Our client, a hospital located near Palisade, CO, has a need for a VP of Cardiovascular Services to join their team. Candidates MUST have Cardiovascular Service Line experience. Do not apply if you don't have this experience. Job Summary The Vice President of Cardiovascular Services provides strategic and operational leadership for the comprehensive cardiovascular service line, including the cardiac catheterization lab, cardiology clinic, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation programs. This role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, financial performance, and service line growth, while fostering strong physician engagement and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction across all associated departments. Key Responsibilities Provide executive leadership for all cardiovascular service line operations Develop and implement strategic plans to expand and enhance cardiovascular services Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality benchmarks Collaborate with physicians and clinical leaders to drive patient-centered care and clinical excellence Lead performance improvement initiatives and monitor key quality and outcome metrics Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams across all service areas Strengthen relationships with stakeholders, including providers, staff, and community partners Qualifications - License, Education, and/or Experience Required Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; MBA or MHA preferred Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in cardiology services within a healthcare setting Registered Nurse (RN) strongly preferred Proven track record of financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadership Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and clinical quality metrics Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills $156,000 - $179,400
