Our leadership team plays a critical role in maintaining studio standards and driving both member satisfaction and business growth. We are excited to be expanding as a company in the coming year! The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing daily studio operations, staff performance, and member experience. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced wellness environment and is passionate about organization, communication, and team development. Studio Operations Support day-to-day studio operations and ensure smooth class flow Open and close the studio as needed Maintain cleanliness, organization, and brand standards Assist with scheduling for front desk staff and instructors Oversee studio systems, software, and internal processes Team Leadership & Development Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training front desk staff Lead by example in professionalism, customer service, and communication Provide coaching, feedback, and support to team members Ensure staff adherence to studio policies and procedures Member Experience & Retention Act as a point of contact for member questions, concerns, and escalations Support membership sales, renewals, freezes, and retention efforts Ensure consistent member outreach and follow-up systems Help create a welcoming, inclusive, and community-driven environment Sales & Growth Support Assist with lead management and conversion from intro class to membership Support promotions, events, and challenges Monitor KPIs related to sales, attendance, and retention Collaborate with GM on strategies to improve studio performance Qualifications 2+ years of experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, or retail management preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Sales-minded with a customer-first approach Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a dynamic environment Comfortable handling sensitive conversations (billing, freezes, cancellations) Proficient with scheduling and CRM software (ClubReady, LoyalSnap, Slack, etc. a plus) Passion for Pilates, fitness, or wellness strongly preferred
