Job Description:
The Department of Anesthesiology at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware is seeking a motivated and dynamic leader to serve as the Vice Chair for Research and Programmatic Development. This full-time role is crucial for advancing research, developing innovative programs, including Fetal Anesthesiology, and advancing the mission and vision of the department. The Vice Chair will collaborate closely with the Chair and other departmental and institutional leaders. Candidates must hold at least 5 years of experience in research and pediatric anesthesiology, ideally gained within an academic institution, and have a record of teaching, program administration, research facilitation, and mentorship. The candidate must qualify for appointment at the Associate or Professor rank at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Only 30-minutes from PHL International Airport and 30-45 minutes from Philadelphia, this is a rare opportunity to live in of the Northeast's most desirable communities.
