At Dirty Dog's Car Wash, we believe the customer always comes first. This is why we provide our customers with more than a car wash, and pride ourselves on quality and value to create the ultimate car wash experience. To be successful in the General Manager role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker. You will help your team to develop and be productive, while ensuring profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you'll help all parties involved grow and thrive by not only making Dirty Dog's Car Wash a great place to work but the best place to get a car wash/service. As the General Manager you are responsible for leading your team and efficient management and maintenance of the facility.
Daily responsibilities include:
Strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to work with and manage others Excellent Oral, Written and Communication skills with the ability to timely follow up. Car wash maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management. Providing a positive and memorable customer experience. Personal Integrity and Maintain a high level of emotional intelligence. Ability to interact with customers and create, file and update reports as needed. Anticipate customers and site needs by consistently evaluating environment and guests for visual cues Manage Inventory/Ordering Train, Lead, and Mentor staff, ensure associates are fully trained in all aspects of current job Maintain financial accountability as honesty and Integrity is a must! Overall Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations Design strategy and set goals for growth Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance Set policies and processes Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally Oversee recruitment and training of new employees Direct the employee assessment process Prepare regular reports for upper management Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors) Skills Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role Experience in planning and budgeting Excellent communication skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Problem-solving aptitude
