Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our dynamic hotel team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient management of staff. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. if you are looking to find the next step in your career in hospitality, then this might be the job for you. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company and franchise policies and standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. AGM will be required to cover desk shifts during slow times of the year and cover call offs as needed. Manage cash handling procedures, including processing transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. Support team management by training, mentoring, and scheduling staff to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance team to maintain high standards of customer service. Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize resource allocation. Act as the Manager in the General Managers absence. Handle all operations of the hotel as directed by the GM as needed. Skills Proven ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
