Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company and franchise policies and standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. AGM will be required to cover desk shifts during slow times of the year and cover call offs as needed. Manage cash handling procedures, including processing transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. Support team management by training, mentoring, and scheduling staff to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance team to maintain high standards of customer service. Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize resource allocation. Act as the Manager in the General Managers absence. Handle all operations of the hotel as directed by the GM as needed. Skills Proven ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
