This senior leadership role reports directly to the Executive Director and is critical to support organizational growth and day-to-day operations. We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong professional experience in managing people, systems, and finances. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations, administration, and organizational systems Assures compliance with State Of Hawaii Department of Health Early Intervention contracts.
Manage accounting functions:
budgeting, reporting, AP/AR, and state billing Supervise Accounting Clerk and coordinate with external accountant Lead all HR functions: hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compliance Administer payroll, benefits, insurance and HR policies Support fundraising efforts Write and oversee grant management and reporting Manage office operations, IT systems, vendors, and purchasing
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in business, HR, Accounting, or related field 5+ years of leadership experience with staff supervision Strong financial management and accounting experience QuickBooks proficiency Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices Development of Business Proposals and/or
Nonprofit Grants Preferred:
MBA or master's degree in human resources, accounting State of Hawaii contract experience Fundraising and grant management experience Additional Information On-site role in Honolulu (occasional travel within Hawaii) Background check required Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
