  • Assistant General Manager (AGM) Chicago Marriott Northwest is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support overall hotel operations and assist the General Manager in leading daily operations, guest service, team management, and brand compliance.

Requirements:
Marriott full-service hotel experience required Strong leadership and hotel operations background Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred 5-10 years of hospitality industry experience required Minimum 3-4 years of experience as Assistant General Manager, Executive Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations Supervise department heads and ensure operational standards are maintained Monitor guest satisfaction, online reviews, and service recovery processes Support hiring, training, scheduling, and employee performance management Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, SOPs, and hotel policies Conduct property inspections and oversee maintenance and FF&E conditions Support budgeting, audits, inventory control, and business planning Coordinate with sales teams for corporate business opportunities and guest relations Provide leadership, guidance, and operational support across all hotel departments Maintain strong communication with ownership, management, and hotel staff
