Job Description

Job Summary The Night's Shield has immediate opening for Executive Director. This management position reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the shelter operations.
Qualifications:
Must be graduate from accredited college or university, requires Master's Degree-preferred in Social Work, Counseling, or other related area. Must have minimum of 5 years experience in supervision and/or administration. Requires background in basic management and be well established and exceptional in assessment. Needs to have ability to work with both children and adults. Requires adaptability and willingness to utilize knowledge and skills of other professionals in progressive, productive manner. Must satisfy all applicable DCFS requirements. Background check, drug testing, physical, valid IL Dr License. Salary Negotiable, depending upon experience and education.
