Job Description

Position Summary The Associate Executive Director plans, directs, and coordinates all aspects of branch operations to ensure exceptional member experiences and strong program outcomes. This role works closely with the Executive Director to align strategy, develop staff, manage budgets, and build community relationships—while embodying the YMCA's core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader Certification (or ability to obtain) Minimum of 5 years of leadership and supervisory experience Strongly preferred: Experience in childcare, summer day camp, and/or out-of-school time (OST) youth programming Demonstrated success in managing youth programs, including licensing, staffing, and enrollment growth Strong financial management and budgeting experience Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain) Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
