We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager with a focus on sales to lead our team and oversee the operations of our branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building materials, particularly in lumber, trusses, and building components. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing overall branch sales, operations, and production activities, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and business performance. Opportunity located in Greater Detroit area and in another location out west. General Manager-Base plus Bonus Key Responsibilities for General Manager

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations, including sales, production, and customer service
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives
• Oversee the procurement and inventory management of building materials
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry partners
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to promote a positive and productive work environment
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports

• Experience:
