With a strong focus on acquisition, development, management, and disposition, the company boasts over three decades of experience and manages a substantial portfolio of commercial assets, including self-storage facilities and parks. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant General Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will support the overall operations of our facilities, lead team members, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales performance. Your leadership will help maintain smooth daily operations while fostering a positive environment that encourages growth and efficiency. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and customer service excellence Supervise staff performance through training, coaching, and motivating team members to meet sales goals and operational standards Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, hiring processes, and onboarding to build a strong team Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stocking, merchandising, and inventory management strategies Ensure compliance with company policies on pricing, store cleanliness, safety procedures, and store maintenance Support marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and increase customer engagement Requirements Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory retail role with strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are a plus Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, sales management, budgeting, and cash handling procedures Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience with inventory management systems such as POS software; familiarity with wireless sales is advantageous Skilled in employee training & development, team management, and customer service excellence Ability to perform administrative tasks including payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store record keeping Prior experience in grocery stores or retail environments involving merchandising and stock management is preferred Join us to be part of a vibrant team where your leadership will make a real impact!
