CNB is looking for a qualified, motivated, and client- and team-focused individual to join our team as a Regional Vice President - Market Leader. This position will be ON-SITE at our East Lansing, Michigan location.
JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Vice President (RVP), provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Bank's commercial lending operations within an assigned region. This senior leadership level role is responsible for driving regional growth, profitability, asset quality, and market expansion while ensuring alignment with the Bank's overall strategic objectives. The RVP leads a team of commercial lenders to cultivate high-value client relationships and oversees a substantial and diversified commercial loan portfolio. This role partners closely with senior leadership, credit administration, risk management, and operations to ensure sound underwriting practices, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute a comprehensive regional commercial banking strategy that aligns with Bank goals Drive loan and deposit growth, revenue generation, and market share expansion throughout the region Identify emerging market opportunities, trends, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions Ensure strong asset quality, risk mitigation, and profitability across a regional loan portfolio Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Lenders to achieve regional performance targets Establish production and goals and monitor performance metrics across the region Review and approve credit recommendations within designated authority Develop materials and present loans to Loan Committee for approval when required Proactively manage a portfolio including assessment of credit quality and risk exposure Serve as a member of various committees that may include: Loan, Watch, ALCO, Compliance, or Marketing Remain current in industry trends, regulatory changes, and continuing education requirements Complies with all regulatory requirements Performs other various duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Fifteen (15) years or more of Commercial Laon experience Strong market knowledge and established referral network Proven leadership experience with responsibility for performance and production goals
Preferred:

WORK ENVIROMENT
This position is an ON-SITE position located in our Lansing Michigan office with occasional travel to meet client and market needs.
