This individual collaborates closely with business stakeholders, technology leadership, development teams, and end users to identify opportunities, define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful delivery of solutions that generate measurable outcomes. Core Purpose Act as a key link between business functions and software development teams, ensuring the platform evolves in alignment with strategic priorities, user expectations, and operational efficiency—while delivering tangible business value. Primary ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Roadmap Management Lead or share responsibility for defining the roadmap for assigned platform capabilities Maintain a well-prioritized backlog aligned with business impact, stakeholder feedback, technical feasibility, and enterprise goals Partner with leadership to establish short-term priorities and long-term capability direction Identify opportunities to deliver value through phased releases, pilot programs, or targeted deployments Business Analysis & Requirements Development Facilitate discovery sessions with business leaders, subject matter experts, and end users Capture and document current processes while outlining improved future-state workflows Translate business needs into actionable deliverables, including user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and success metrics Ensure requirements are clearly defined and ready prior to development Maintain structured and up-to-date documentation within established systems Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment Collaborate across functions including Engineering, Operations, Finance, IT, and other business areas Establish consistent intake and requirements processes to streamline workflow and reduce bottlenecks Lead prioritization discussions and manage trade-offs among competing initiatives Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner Execution, Delivery & Adoption Partner with development teams throughout delivery to clarify requirements and resolve questions Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), validation efforts, release readiness, and training inputs Ensure delivered features meet defined expectations and business goals Monitor adoption and assess value realization following implementation where applicable Continuous Improvement Identify recurring issues, inefficiencies, and user experience challenges Recommend improvements to enhance system performance, usability, visibility, and adoption Support the evolution of product management practices and delivery processes over time Required Experience 7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or business systems roles Experience working with enterprise or operational platforms such as ERP, MES, CRM, or custom-built applications Demonstrated ability to convert business processes into structured technical requirements Strong facilitation and stakeholder management capabilities Experience prioritizing work based on value, risk, timing, effort, and dependencies Excellent communication skills across both business and technical audiences Preferred Experience Background in manufacturing, construction, engineering, project-based, or make-to-order environments Experience supporting system upgrades, modernization efforts, or legacy system transitions Familiarity with backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar systems Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies Experience supporting UAT, training, release coordination, and user adoption Performance Indicators Roadmap is clearly defined, maintained, and understood by stakeholders Initiatives have clear ownership, requirements, and measurable business outcomes Reduced rework due to improved clarity and completeness of requirements Increased transparency and confidence from business stakeholders Delivery of capabilities in smaller, high-value increments Strong focus on user adoption and measurable business impact Reporting Structure This position typically resides within a technology, product, or business systems function, enabling it to represent business priorities effectively while maintaining close alignment with development and delivery teams.#TP456
