Job Description

Position Overview:
The Vice President of Government Services will have full commercial responsibility for revenue and profitability for all government channels with primary responsibility in the Veterans Administration segment. Essential Functions (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.) Will be responsible for growing, re-defining, developing, and managing all government channels. (Veterans Administration, Department of Defense, state, local, etc.) Hold primary influence over and responsibility for revenue, customer support, marketing and other commercial matters for Government Services. Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and monitor performance to those targets Work with global and local operations, marketing, quality, R D, product management, and other departments to ensure products and software meet customer needs in the desired timeframes Manage and develop sales leadership team capable of successfully carrying out sales initiatives Strategically manage the placement of products into government contract categories. Manage the launch cadence of those products Provide leadership and counsel to the sales organization in implementing sales organization objectives that appropriately reflect ReSound's business goals Partner with senior leadership to identify and drive opportunities for sales process improvement Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.) Must have strong leadership skills and be able to resolve problems and make effective decisions. Excellent written/verbal communication skills, self-motivated and a self-starter. Must be detailed and process oriented. Ability to build and plan processes in a well-organized manner, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong sense of integrity and accountability. Demonstrate attention to detail, basic analytical skills, accuracy and thoroughness, written and verbal communication skills, ability to follow instruction and effectively manage time. Must display professionalism, demonstrate an understanding of market and competition, identify external threats and opportunities, support the organization's goals and values and understand the business implications of decisions made in the field. Should be able to quickly adapt strategy to changing conditions, change approach or method to best fit the situation and demonstrate persistence and the ability to overcome obstacles. Should respond promptly to customer needs, solicit customer feedback to improve service level, meet commitments, display original thinking and creativity, and present product information in a manner that gets others' attention.
Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or commensurate level of related experience desired.
Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years hearing industry experience required. Detailed hearing aid product and software knowledge required. Minimum 3 years full P&L responsibility, preferred while managing a government channel / program Sales management experience highly desired Extensive experience with ReSound technology preferred.

Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $190,000 to $230,000 /yr. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
