Job Description

Assistant Manager Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a well-organized environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the industry, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff to achieve hotel goals. Some skills that are useful for an assistant manager include: The ability to make quick decisions under pressure, Sound financial skills, Strong organizational skills, The ability to delegate, and Flexibility to work in shifts. Assist in managing daily operations, including staffing, and inventory Recruit, train, and supervise team members to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Guest assistance : Helping guests and resolving guest issues Staff supervision : Overseeing hotel staff and ensuring they perform their duties well Phone answering : Answering phones
Budgeting :
Assisting the general manager with monitoring budgets, expenses, and revenue streams Guest relations : Handling guest relations and addressing guest concerns Customer support : Providing customer support in escalated situations Implement effective inventory measures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste and by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized environment that meets health, safety, and brand standards. Experience Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. Experience in recruiting and training staff is a plus. Must have Choice experience.
