Management Trainee

Management Trainee Looking for a Management Trainee to oversee daily operations, staff, and customer service, to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable site performance. Key duties include training employees, maintaining machinery, managing chemical inventory and resolving customer issues. This role requires strong leadership, mechanical aptitude, and a focus on site cleanliness. A Car Wash Manager Trainee usually transitions to an Assistant Manager role within 6-12 months.

Core Responsibilities Operational Management:

Directs daily, weekly, and monthly operations, including opening/closing the facility, monitoring wash quality, and ensuring safety protocols.

Staff Leadership:

Trains, schedules, supervises, and disciplines a team of attendants to maintain high service standards.

Customer Service & Sales:

Handles customer complaints/claims and ensures a positive, friendly environment.

Equipment & Site Maintenance:

Conducts routine maintenance on wash equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing chemical supplies.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

2+ years in car wash, retail, or service management preferred.

Leadership:

Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team.

Technical Aptitude:

Mechanical skills for troubleshooting and maintaining car wash machinery.

Communication:

Excellent customer service and communication skills to handle guest issues.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and long hours. Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Required to stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift.
• Ability to work on your feet for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must always wear required safety equipment.
• Ability to lift 25lbs. regularly and up to 50lbs. occasionally. When you'll work:
• 8-10 hour shifts
• Monday-Friday, evenings and weekends as required
• On-call availability as part of your leadership responsibilities
