Job Description

Top-performing teams don't happen by accident. They are built by strong leaders. We are seeking a confident, people-first General Manager to lead an established, high-volume beauty and wellness center in Asheville. This role is ideal for a leader who loves building culture, driving performance, developing people, and running a business with excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to balance accountability with team development and guest experience with business results. The right person will step into a center with strong systems, supportive ownership, and the autonomy to lead. Ownership is highly involved in growing the brand and supporting the business strategically, while trusting the General Manager to confidently oversee day-to-day operations and team performance. We are not looking for someone to simply "manage the schedule." We are looking for someone who: Leads with confidence and emotional intelligence Coaches people instead of avoiding hard conversations Holds a high standard while building trust with the team Understands sales, memberships, retention, and operational performance Takes initiative and solves problems independently Creates consistency, accountability, and positive energy within the center
What You'll Lead:
Daily operations and business performance Team coaching, accountability, and development Membership growth and guest retention Sales performance and KPI management Hiring, onboarding, and team training Inventory, payroll, scheduling, and operational standards Creating an elevated client experience and strong center culture
Ideal Backgrounds May Include:
Fitness studio leadership Medspa or aesthetic management Retail or hospitality management Membership-based businesses Multi-unit assistant leadership ready to step into a larger role Beauty industry experience is welcomed, but leadership capability, operational maturity, and people development skills matter most.
Compensation & Growth:
