Job Description
A high-volume, established and successful Import Brand Dealership in the Edison, NJ area is seeking an experienced Automotive Dealership General Manager. If you are someone with high energy, marketing and a strong fixed operations background this is a great opportunity to join an established Automotive Group.

Assist in developing and executing a strategic plan to achieve monthly and annual forecasts Hire, train, mentor, support and monitor the performance staff Assist Sales Managers in working and closing deals Drive used car acquisition, inventory turn and pricing strategies for maximum profitability Be a hands-on leader, engaging with staff and customers daily to drive performance Ensure exceptional customer experience and retention Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer, vendors and lenders Manage P&L, expense control and overall dealership profitability Stay ahead of market trends, digital retailing and evolving customer expectations Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market Learn and uphold all local, state and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales and the automotive industry as a whole Additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years proven success as an Automotive General Manager or General Sales Manager in an automotive dealership Experience in maintaining the profitability of the dealership while controlling expenses and sustaining customer satisfaction Strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors A lead-from-the-front attitude - actively involved in daily operations Ability to analyze date, drive performance and execute winning strategies Exceptional negotiation, communication and leadership skills Strong knowledge of F&I, fixed ops and digital marketing strategiesJob Type:
