Full-Time, Exempt The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in leading day-to-day dispensary operations while creating an exceptional customer experience and a positive, accountable team culture. This role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence through leadership, compliance, inventory oversight, cash management, and team development. The ideal candidate is a strong retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and understands the importance of balancing customer service, compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of dispensary team members Help maintain a positive, accountable, and customer-focused culture Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback Support scheduling and daily operational leadership Assist with disciplinary processes and performance management when needed Lead by example through professionalism, communication, and operational excellence Operations & Customer Experience Support smooth daily dispensary operations and customer service initiatives Ensure compliance with company SOPs and state cannabis regulations Assist in driving sales goals, KPIs, and profitability metrics Help identify operational improvements and workflow efficiencies Maintain product knowledge and operational awareness across the team Inventory & Cash Handling Support inventory tracking, reconciliation, and product accountability Assist with stock management and replenishment planning Help oversee cash handling procedures and balancing processes Support investigations and resolution of inventory or cash discrepancies Safety & Compliance Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant work environment Ensure team adherence to all company policies and regulatory requirements Partner with leadership and security teams to mitigate operational risks Qualifications 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume retail or customer-facing environment Cannabis industry experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Experience with POS systems, inventory management platforms, and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proven ability to coach and develop teams enefits & Perks Eligible full-time team members may receive access to a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both personal and professional well-being, including: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance Optional long-term disability coverage Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid time off and paid holidays Floating holidays and sick time Employee discount programs Career growth and advancement opportunities Leadership development and ongoing training Eligibility for a discretionary bonus program based on individual and company performance At Justice Cannabis Co., we are committed to building a culture where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.
