Assistant Manager Five Star Swim School - 3.2 Woodbury, NJ Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Operations management Certified Pool Operator Pool maintenance Team development Hiring Full Job Description Five Star Swim School is seeking a strong Assistant Manager with excellent leadership and communication skills. We are looking for a candidate that possesses some prior management experience as well as knowledge and experience in the aquatics industry. This is a full time position with core hours being weekday afternoons/evenings as well as weekend mornings/afternoons. We operate 5 days a week and the assistant manager would be responsible for assisting with the total operations of the location.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and oversee employees. Create a team that is effective and happy! Create work schedule making sure each day is properly staffed with swim instructors, lifeguards, and front desk staff. Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and up to all codes Have strong customer service skills with current and potential new families Work as a team with general manager to ensure completion of all tasks Greet and engage with families; form bonds and create a positive environment. Be a presence in the facility that promotes our brand Maintain pool cleanliness and chemical levels for safe bathing (CPO certification preferred or willingness to obtain) Keep track of revenue and monthly billing for customers Be ready and willing to step in to fill any position that is deemed necessary for operations including swim instructor or lifeguard. Certifications preferred or willing to obtain: CPO/TPO, Red Cross Lifeguard Must have a great attitude and be ready to learn all about our business. Hourly rate will be discussed based on experience.
