Small boutique-style assisted living facility, maximum of 10 residents Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Assisted Living Manager Trainee to join our small, resident-centered assisted living home. This position is designed for an experienced caregiver who is ready to grow into a leadership role. The selected candidate will complete a 6-month ramp-up training program focused on learning company policies, procedures, resident care standards, team leadership, scheduling needs, and the daily operations of a boutique assisted living facility. Our House Managers are caregivers who excel at providing compassionate care, leading a strong team, supporting residents, and creating a safe, positive, resident-centered environment.
Compensation Starting salary during training:
$36,000 per year Upon successful completion of the 6-month program: $42,000 per year Annual bonus opportunity: Up to $3,000 per year Responsibilities Provide excellent hands-on caregiver support to residents Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed Support a resident-centered care environment Learn and follow all company policies and procedures Assist with daily operations of the assisted living home Lead by example and help support a positive team culture Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and leadership Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents Cover shifts as needed, including any shift required for staffing or training purposes Complete all required training during the 6-month ramp-up program Demonstrate strong caregiving skills, reliability, accountability, and leadership potential Requirements Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience Minimum 1 year of management or leadership experience Assisted living experience is a plus Must be willing and able to provide direct resident care Must be available to cover any shift as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to learn and follow company procedures and policies Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Must demonstrate the ability to lead a team while maintaining excellent caregiver standards Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an experienced caregiver who takes pride in providing excellent care and is ready to grow into a management role. This person should be dependable, compassionate, organized, willing to learn, and comfortable leading others while still being actively involved in resident care.
