The Retail Banking Officer is responsible for driving sales performance, enhancing customer experience, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading high-performing teams across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities Lead retail banking, consumer lending, and marketing operations Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives in Portage and Summit Counties Drive deposit growth, consumer lending production, and customer engagement Coach, mentor, and develop branch and department leaders Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures Partner with executive leadership on retail performance and market opportunities Strengthen customer relationships through sales, service, and community involvement Collaborate across departments to improve operational efficiency and customer experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred 10+ years of progressive banking experience, including 5+ years in leadership Strong knowledge of retail banking, consumer lending, marketing, and banking regulations Proven success leading teams, driving growth, and developing employees Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills Community involvement and networking experience preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking technology systems What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a collaborative, strategic leader who values community banking, builds strong teams, and creates exceptional customer experiences while supporting the bank's long-term growth goals.
