Job Description
The Managing Director (MD) USA is responsible for steering TITAN towards strategic growth, profitability, and long-term success within the U.S. market. This role involves developing and implementing business strategies, overseeing daily operations, and managing the company's financial health. The MD ensures that all departments align with TITAN's objectives, fosters a positive and high-performance culture, and maintains effective communication with stakeholders, employees, and external partners. Additionally, the MD ensures compliance with all U.S. legal and regulatory requirements, drives innovation, and leads the management team to deliver operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Execution Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion in the U.S. Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to capitalise on opportunities while mitigating risks. Financial Management Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and sustainability. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed. Corporate Governance Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Report regularly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) on business performance and strategic initiatives. Leadership and Organisational Development Lead and inspire the management team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence. Develop succession plans and ensure leadership continuity across all functions. Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including commercial partners, regulators, and local authorities. Represent TITAN at industry events, conferences, and public forums. Change Management and Transformation Lead organisational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication across teams. Embed continuous improvement, innovation, and a forward-thinking mindset across the business. Commercial Strategy and Customer Focus Drive a customer-centric strategy to maintain competitiveness and service excellence. Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and overall commercial performance. Technology and Digital Enablement Oversee digital transformation initiatives to enhance productivity and customer experience. Ensure the company leverages technology for operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. ESG and Sustainability Leadership Champion sustainability initiatives aligned with TITAN's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives. Integrate ESG considerations into business strategy and operational decision-making. Who We Are Looking For Degree in Business Management or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 10 years' senior leadership experience, ideally within logistics, cold storage, or containerised solutions. Proven track record of driving strategic growth, market expansion, and revenue generation. Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, performance management, and profitability improvement. Deep understanding of the U.S. market, regulatory environment, and business landscape. Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams and organisational transformation. Experience in digital enablement, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills. High integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical business practices. Passion for sustainability and integrating ESG principles into business strategy.
