  • Full-time The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the branch including but not limited to Customer Service, Manufacturing and Delivery.
The General Manager will lead with a professional, respectful, and persuasive voice.
Other responsibilities include:
Interviewing , hiring, and training employees, planning ,assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and providing solutions to problems. Maintaining daily business transaction's for the branch as well as assets and inventory. Ensuring that the assigned duties of all personnel are being completed on a daily basis and in a timely manner. Assuring that company policies and procedures are practiced. Developing and maintaining relationships with customers. Aggressively assist Outside and Inside Sales to develop business with new customers & maximize sales potential with existing customer base. Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and work with the Regional General Manager to address new opportunities. Evaluate and recommend product mix and selling price based on changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Develop plans and strategies for increasing wholesale business and achieving the company's goals and expectations. Manage policy development and deployment in the areas of lean manufacturing techniques, quality control, cost reduction, efficient delivery, safety, customer satisfaction and plant performance. Provides leadership for employee resolution to facilitate fast improvements and improved working relationships. Ensures compliance with OSHA and proper Workers Compensation recordkeeping. Maintain staff by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training employees. Provide quarterly results assessments of staff & department productivity. Hold daily department meetings with staff. Develop and implement process improvement strategies relating to materials produced delivery, product or service charges, credits or customer communications. Other duties and projects as assigned. This position does come with profit sharing bonus.
