In this energetic role, you will support the store manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your proactive approach and management skills will help foster a positive work environment while achieving sales targets and maintaining store standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership capabilities and contribute to a thriving retail environment. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation to build a motivated team. Supervise staff performance through training & development initiatives, coaching, and providing constructive feedback. Oversee sales management activities such as pricing strategies, merchandising, marketing campaigns, and retail math calculations to maximize revenue. Ensure excellent customer service by resolving issues promptly, maintaining phone etiquette, and fostering a welcoming shopping environment. Manage inventory management processes including stocking, stock rotation, purchasing, and inventory control to optimize product availability. Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and shift management to ensure smooth store operations. Skills Strong management skills with proven supervisory experience in retail or grocery store environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and engage customers confidently. Proficiency in retail management systems including POS (Point of Sale), inventory software, and cash register operations. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases. Experience in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development to build high-performing teams. Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, inventory control, and store administration.
