Assistant General Manager

LA Fitness is a globally recognized name when it comes to health and fitness. The role of Assistant General Manager is crucial to the success of our clubs. They are responsible for helping the General Manager in hiring, developing and mentoring the club sales staff and with that staff, achieving membership sales goals. The purpose of this position is to train and groom our next line of successful General Managers. Previous experience in a leadership role is a plus as well as previous sales and marketing experience but it is not needed! We will train you and give you all the tools needed to be successful at this position as long as you have the right attitude! This is a full-time position with the opportunity to advance. You receive paid sick and vacation time as well as full medical, vision, and dental benefits. You are paid through a base salary, commissions from sales, and bonus opportunities based on the club sales performance. You receive a complimentary LA Fitness Fitness membership for you and a guest that you can use during your lunch break and off days! Your day to day responsibilities include potential member phone calls, touring prospective members around the club, lead generation, visiting local businesses for marketing purposes, and attending local events as an LA Fitness representative to distribute guest passes and spread your passion for fitness!
