Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage various aspects of retail operations effectively. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and productivity. Oversee inventory control processes, including stock management and ordering supplies. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members. Handle cash management tasks, including cash handling and reconciliation. Support budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and sales performance. Manage shifts effectively, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours. Drive sales management initiatives to meet or exceed store targets. Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement promotional strategies and merchandising plans. Provide training and development for staff to enhance their skills and performance. Qualifications Drivers License Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred, with a focus on assistant management roles. Strong understanding of retail math principles and inventory control practices. Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail. Proven ability to manage shifts and lead a team effectively. Familiarity with budgeting processes and sales management strategies. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
