Job Description

Executive Consultant#26-08339 Camden, NJ All On-site Job Description 20-30 hours/week. 4-6 hours/day, 5 days/week. Can be in the AM or PM, but team would like schedule to be consistent. 100% remote Possible extension based on budget and project scope Need to have 10+ years of experience
  • We want to bring in someone with deep experience, as we'll need the consultant to be well-versed in the space, have strong industry relationships and able to provide coaching on best practices as well
JOB DESCRIPTION
Serve as a key lead on managing multiple licensors' day-to-day efforts to ensure CPB is getting the most out of licensing partners/deals, ensuring tactics and comms are being handled accordingly, and continuing to reinforce CPB's licensing strategy across the enterprise. Additionally, manage all ongoing meetings with Licensors, and serve as an integral member in identifying a new Licensing Agency for the company (focusing on both Inbound and Outbound deals).
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
DAY-TO-DAY / OPERATIONS (supporting ~10+ existing deals):
  • Quarterly Business Review:
    Develop a framework document or process across teams that cover royalties, sales, forecasts, and retailer distribution
  • Royalty and Licensee Management:
    Partnering closely with CPB Finance and Procurement teams, manage royalty collection and reporting
  • Contract Review/Negotiations:
    Provide a filter to review contracts from a licensor POV and coordinate legal review with CPB legal teams
  • Licensee Management:
    Own day-to-day tasks and partner updates/calls
  • CPB Meetings:
    Weekly meetings to ensure alignment on goals and enhancements on CPB's licensing approach (e.g., maximizing opportunities)
Licensing Agency:
Collaborate on building the RFP, managing the pitch/reviewal process with agencies, and assisting in selection of key agency
BIG-PICTURE
(strategic planning for future needs):
  • Strategic Licensing Plans:
    Assist with developing licensing strategies that align with brand goals, market needs and effectively reach/engage with target audiences
Partner Identification:
Identify culturally relevant and established brand partners to strengthen licensing programs (including highly visible/well-known partners)
AREAS OF FOCUS
  • Years of Experience:
    10+ in Licensing, including Food Space
  • Primary Brands:
    R&W, Goldfish, Chunky, V8 (Original, Energy), SpaghettiOs
  • Licensing Categories:
    Apparel, toys, home + kitchen ware, lifestyle, media, consumables
  • Zeitgeist:
    Licensors who have an existing high awareness/following (alleviating the need for high incremental paid media support)
Established Licensors:
History of successful licensing deals/stunts with appetite to push the envelope with new, exciting efforts that drive
