Full Job Description Technical Program Manager and Chief of Staff Location:
downtown Denver 2-3 days/week A Little About the Role This role is critical as we rapidly scale. The TPM/CoS will orchestrate execution across three product lines (Desktop, Online & Mobile) with 70+ engineers, establishing program management excellence and driving visibility needed to scale our engineering organization. What You Will Do Own and manage Jira across product lines, establishing consistent workflows and processes that scale across multiple teams. Drive execution excellence for concurrent initiatives through proactive risk management, dependency resolution, and critical path planning. Lead cross-functional technology initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Infrastructure teams. Design and maintain executive dashboards using Jira and BI tools (Tableau, Looker), tracking velocity, cycle time, deployment frequency, MTTR, and sprint predictability. Provide weekly/monthly executive reporting on program health, delivery status, risks, and productivity trends with automated real-time visibility. Drive adoption of Agile/Scrum practices, CI/CD, DevOps methodologies, and engineering best practices. Create polished executive presentations for CTO, CEO, and Board, translating technical programs into clear business narratives. Operate with strong sense of urgency, building a culture of accountability, transparency, and data-driven decision making. Mentor program managers and foster collaboration across product lines and functional teams.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have Leadership Experience:
10 years' in technical program management with 3-5 years' managing enterprise-scale programs across 50+ engineers and multiple product lines in B2B SaaS environments.
Jira & Tooling Expertise:
Expert-level Jira administration, workflow design, and customization at scale. Proficiency with Confluence, Slack, GitHub/GitLab, and modern development tools.
Metrics & Analytics:
Demonstrated experience building executive dashboards and metrics frameworks using BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI). Strong knowledge of engineering metrics and data visualization.
Software Development Knowledge:
Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), and release management. Ability to engage in technical discussions and assess architectural trade-offs.
Executive Communication:
Exceptional skills creating and delivering executive-level presentations. Ability to translate technical programs into clear business narratives for CTO, CEO, and Board.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Proven ability to lead without direct authority, driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and Infrastructure teams with competing priorities.
Sense of Urgency:
Demonstrated bias for action, driving results in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality standards. Education and Experience 10 years' in technical program management with 3-5 years' managing enterprise-scale programs and projects across 50+ engineers and multiple product lines in B2B SaaS environments. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field. Experience at top-tier tech companies or high-growth SaaS companies. Experience implementing OKRs, DORA metrics, or scaling TPM practices from the ground up.
Other:
Must be willing and able to travel to conferences, client sites, or other company offices, based on business needs. This position is based in our Denver, CO office. We are currently in a hybrid in-office/remote working model based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work in office 3 days per week.
