All candidate inquiries will be handled with complete confidentiality. About the Dealership The store is a long-tenured Toyota retailer with strong factory standing and an established customer base. It is a multi-year Toyota President's Award winner and ranks among the top ten Toyota dealers in New England. Ownership is committed to professional, stable, well-run operations and is investing in the next phase of the store's growth. About the Role The incoming General Manager will have full P&L responsibility across sales, service, parts, F&I, and office operations, with the autonomy to run the dealership as their own. Ownership's expectation is that the store operates effectively without day-to-day owner intervention. Candidate Profile The right candidate treats the dealership as if it were their own. They come in early and stay late. They're engaged daily with each department, helping measure, analyze and improve each day. They bring an ownership mentality to every part of the operation.

Specifically:

A track record of running a franchised dealership at the GM, GSM, or senior fixed-operations level, with demonstrated P&L results. Experience managing manufacturer relationships, including allocation, incentive programs, certification standards, and factory reporting. The ability to develop and lead department managers — not to do their jobs for them, but to coach, cheerlead, hold accountable, and build a bench. Fluency in the financial mechanics of a dealership: gross profit, expense control, fixed coverage, F&I performance, parts and service productivity. A clear, executable plan for elevating performance from day one — and the discipline to follow through on it. Toyota experience strongly preferred; candidates from other high-volume, customer-driven import franchises will be considered for the right fit. Compensation Total compensation is structured around base salary, performance bonus, and dealership profitability participation. The package will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and the scope of responsibility ultimately assumed, with meaningful upside for top performers.
