Job Overview We are seeking a bright and proactive Assistant Manager to join our hotel! In this pivotal role, you will support day to day operations and foster a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Responsibilities Assist in daily operations, including check in and check out procedures, housekeeping, and laundry. Lead and motivate team members through effective supervision, training, and development initiatives. Oversee customer service standards to ensure an exceptional stay for all visitors. Coordinate scheduling, shift management, and task delegation to ensure full coverage. Provide shift coverage as needed. Handle sales transactions accurately using POS systems while ensuring compliance with cash handling policies. Foster a positive team environment by promoting communication skills, leadership development, and employee orientation. Experience Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within hospitality or customer service environments is desirable. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively with excellent leadership skills. Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, and cash handling procedures. Skilled in negotiation, customer service, and conflict resolution. Exceptional organizational skills combined with time management expertise to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
