Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic, service-oriented, and results-driven Assistant General Manager to join our hotel leadership team. In this key role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team. The Assistant General Manager plays a critical role in driving guest satisfaction, maximizing revenue opportunities, and ensuring compliance with brand standards and company policies. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services. Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts to build and maintain a strong hospitality team. Supervise and motivate team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor hotel performance metrics, occupancy levels, and revenue goals to support overall profitability. Assist with scheduling, labor management, payroll review, and staff development initiatives. Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, safety regulations, and local hospitality requirements. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance standards, and guest readiness. Support sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy, guest retention, and market presence. Manage inventory and purchasing for hotel supplies and operational needs. Handle guest escalations and service recovery efforts with professionalism and urgency. Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost-control measures to maximize operational efficiency. Serve as Manager on Duty as needed, ensuring smooth hotel operations during assigned shifts. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in hotel management, hospitality leadership, or a supervisory role within a hotel environment. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset. Proven ability to manage multiple departments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS), reservation systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and revenue management. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience with employee training, coaching, performance management, and team development. Financial acumen, including budgeting, payroll, labor management, and expense control. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Why Join Our Team?
