General Manager (GM)

Multi-location Boat Dealership is seeking an experienced and motivated General Store Manager. Marine industry experience is preferred, however comparable Auto Dealership Manager experience is also acceptable.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of all departments including sales, service, and parts Increase profitability in all departments Remain accountable for profit and loss statements Sell units as a primary responsibility on the standard sales program Train Sales Managers and Associates on dealership policies and procedures, and general Marine product knowledge Ensure all staff follows the proper procedures Recruit and train new sales or service staff Maintain appearance of showroom, lot, and all units Inform management of customer feedback about products and services Ensure that all necessary documents are completed in an accurate and timely manner Complete other duties and tasks as required Job Requirements Ability and desire to work in a fun, fast-paced environment 2+ years of Management experience in a Dealership atmosphere preferred Knowledge of ACV and Finance Ability to train and lead employees Maintain a clean and safe working environment Able to handle/diffuse customer complaints Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with customer
