Management Trainee - Logistics Company

Join Momentum Shipping Company co, a swiftly expanding third-party logistics (3PL) company. We are creating new pathways to success through a structured 2-3 year management track. This program is designed for dynamic individuals eager to lead, innovate, and excel across various departments. With rotations every six to nine months, you will gain comprehensive insights and skills critical for future leadership roles in logistics.

Role Overview:

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. Saturday shifts during peak seasons (Nov-Dec). Experience different facets of our logistics operations, including order processing, inventory management, receiving, returns, and customer service. Transfers between departments every few months to foster versatile skill development.

Tailored mentorship and ongoing training geared towards a high-level leadership role within 3 years.

Responsibilities:

Assist with various logistical tasks such as order processing, picking, packing, inventory management, and shipping just to name a few. Support warehouse organization, ensuring a clean and orderly environment. Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support team and operational goals.

Qualifications:

Proactive and positive attitude, with a strong ability to work collaboratively. Respectful and professional demeanor. Quick learner with a keen interest in technology and systems relevant to logistics. Receptive to feedback, is teachable, and values constructive criticism. Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills in English. Physical capability to handle warehouse duties including lifting up to 50 lbs. Motivated by challenges and adaptable to changing business needs and environments. Punctuality, reliability, and honesty are crucial.

Pay & Benefits:

Salary:

$20.00 - $22.00/hr., depending on experience. PTO and holiday time. Access to professional development and career advancement within a growing company.
