This is a full P&L leadership role with direct impact on growth, operational performance, and team development within a high-demand automation environment. This opportunity is ideal for a senior leader who has scaled automation or advanced manufacturing operations and can drive both strategy and execution. Role Overview Own full business unit performance. Lead operations, growth strategy, and team development. Drive execution across engineering, program management, and production. You will align commercial objectives with delivery performance while building a high-performing, accountable team. Key Responsibilities Own P&L performance and business unit profitability Develop and execute strategic business plans and growth initiatives Lead daily operations across engineering, production, and program delivery Drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and scalability Set and track key performance metrics across safety, quality, delivery, and cost Partner with business development on quoting, capacity planning, and pipeline growth Build and develop leadership bench strength across the organization Coach and mentor direct reports, strengthen team capability Ensure alignment across departments and clear communication at all levels Collaborate with HR on workforce planning, performance management, and policy execution Lead safety initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards Ensure ISO and quality standards are met or exceeded Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering required MBA or advanced degree preferred Experience 8-10+ years of leadership experience in automation or advanced manufacturing Proven track record managing large-scale operations Direct P&L ownership Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex project environments Skills Strong operational and commercial leadership Ability to scale teams and improve performance Clear communicator across executive, technical, and customer audiences Comfortable driving change and implementing process improvements Additional Notes Pre-employment requirements include drug screen, physical, and background check Relocation support may be available depending on candidate Position Summary This is a high-impact leadership role with full ownership of a growing automation business unit.
