Role Description The General Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lexington, TN. The General Manager will lead overall site operations, including setting strategic priorities, managing budgets, and ensuring that production, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved. This role will oversee cross-functional teams, coach and develop leaders, and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement. The General Manager will collaborate closely with corporate functions to align local operations with global business objectives, implement operational excellence initiatives, and support regulatory and compliance requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities also include monitoring key performance indicators, driving customer-focused decision-making, representing the site in internal and external meetings, and leading change initiatives to support long-term business growth. Qualifications Proven leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or general management within a regulated environment, preferably medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare technology. Strong skills in strategic planning, business planning, and P&L management, with a track record of delivering on financial, quality, and operational goals. Demonstrated capability in people leadership, including coaching, talent development, performance management, and building inclusive, high-performing teams. Experience driving operational excellence, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies). Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, including the use of metrics, KPIs, and analytical tools to guide strategy and day-to-day operations. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels in a global organization. Thorough understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards relevant to medical technology or comparable industries. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Lexington, TN, and to travel as needed for regional and corporate meetings.
