General Manager

Responsibilities Lead and manage daily operations, including sales management, fleet maintenance and inventory control. Develop and implement strategies for increasing sales, enhancing customer experience, and achieving business targets. Supervise staff recruitment, onboarding, training & development, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team. Oversee employee orientation, scheduling shifts, and managing payroll to maintain operational efficiency. Conduct interviews for potential team members, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates aligned with company standards. Manage marketing initiatives to attract customers and boost sales. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, manage purchasing decisions, and oversee inventory management using CRM & fleet management systems. Foster effective communication within the team through coaching sessions and regular meetings to promote a collaborative environment. Ensure compliance with safety policies, and legal regulations while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Qualifications Proven management experience in the heavy civil construction industry Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development. Demonstrated ability in inventory management, CRM & fleet management systems operation.
