Full Job Description Clear Channel Outdoor Job Summary:
The Business Manager, Technology serves as an operational partner to the Chief Technology Officer and the Technology Leadership Team. This role is responsible for driving operational rigor, financial transparency, workforce planning coordination, vendor oversight, and executive reporting across the Technology organization. This individual ensures the Technology function operates with business discipline — aligning financials, headcount, and execution to strategic priorities while enabling leaders to focus on delivering measurable value to the company. This is a visible role requiring strong business acumen, executive communication capability, financial discipline, and the ability to work cross-functionally. Job Responsibilities Operational Support Serve as a trusted advisor to the CTO on organizational planning, operating cadence, and execution tracking. Support quarterly and annual planning processes for the Technology organization. Lead preparation of materials for executive leadership meetings, board updates, and earnings support as needed. Establish and maintain consistent operating rhythms (leadership reviews, financial reviews, organizational check-ins). Financial Management & Budget Oversight Oversee the Technology department's operating and capital budgets. Partner closely with Finance on forecasting, variance analysis, accruals, and long-range planning. Provide transparency into run vs. grow vs. transform investments. Track financial performance of major technology initiatives and monitor business case realization. Support cost optimization efforts and vendor spend management. Vendor & Contract Management Coordinate major technology vendor relationships in partnership with Procurement and Technology leaders. Track contract renewals, financial commitments, and performance metrics. Monitor vendor spend against budget and identify optimization opportunities. Support financial preparation and analysis for contract negotiations and renewals. Workforce & Resource Planning (Partnership & Oversight) Partner with Technology leaders on annual and quarterly headcount planning. Consolidate and document workforce plans across teams to ensure alignment with budget and strategy. Monitor actual headcount, contractor usage, and consulting spend against approved plans. Provide visibility into capacity trends, hiring progress, and open roles. Partner with HR and Finance to ensure role alignment, leveling consistency, and financial accuracy. Maintain documentation and reporting to support executive transparency and informed decision-making. Internal Communications & Organizational Enablement Support Technology-wide communications from the CTO. Coordinate leadership offsites, all-hands meetings, and organizational updates. Help drive clarity around priorities, financials, and performance metrics. Promote accountability, transparency, and cross-functional collaboration across Technology. Oversee day-to-day operations of the Seattle office, ensuring a well-maintained, organized, and productive workplace environment. Qualifications Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience. 7-10+ years of experience in business operations, finance, strategy, consulting, or technology management. Experience supporting a C-level executive or senior leadership team. Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives. Experience in a complex, multi-team technology organization preferred. Core Competencies Executive presence and strong communication skills.
