Description Are you interested in shaping the future of gifting on Amazon? Do you want to define and build the next generation of customer interaction with Gift Cards? Amazon is looking for a talented and entrepreneurial Senior Business Manager for our Gift Cards business. The North America (NA) Amazon Gift Card Stores Business team owns a portfolio of products sold through a variety of channels including Amazon.com, Amazon.ca and Brick & Mortar (B&M). We are looking for a Sr. Business Manager to lead grow Amazon's Gift Card (AGC) business within 3rd party stores (B&M) and partners in US and Canada. A successful candidate is a self-starter, who has the ability to move quickly, dive into the details and has an ability to work in an ambiguous environment. Core responsibilities will include managing profitability and identifying growth strategies in an evolving landscape. The candidate should have experience in building strong relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. They must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Amazon at executive levels. The candidate must also possess strong analytical acumen and be comfortable drawing metric-based conclusions by managing an extensive amount of data. Candidates must have proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, great attention to detail, the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task and a proven record of driving category growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment. Key job responsibilities The successful candidate will be able to:
  • Maximize Amazon's business profitability and selection expansion opportunities through off Amazon Channels
  • Act as the main point of contact for key distribution partners and their associated retailers, supporting all aspects of the Amazon Gift Card business within its portfolio, including demand generation, product placements, marketing promotions, customer experience and customer service.
  • Define the right product strategy within the distributor's retail accounts and draw insights into marketing and sales activities across the portfolio to inform demand and margin growth efforts.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to scale this growing category.
  • Collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams, spanning product, operations, engineering, customer service, finance, tax, legal and transaction risk/fraud management.
  • Assess business needs and develop and execute against a growth strategy, helping define the optimal promotional calendar and marketing campaigns across multiple retail partners.
  • Support gift card production and inventory control and ensure best-in-class customer experience and support. Basic Qualifications
  • Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, or experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.

Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
