Job Summary We are seeking a General Manager to lead and strengthen the operations of our Vancouver office. This is not a maintenance role. We are looking for a leader who enjoys creating structure, improving performance, developing people, and building a highly accountable operation. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an office that is ready for its next phase of growth through stronger operational structure and leadership. The Opportunity The Vancouver office has strong potential and a committed team. The next step is strengthening how the business runs day to day so that performance is consistent and growth is sustainable. This role is focused on: creating structure improving consistency strengthening team performance and building a foundation that supports future growth You will have the ability to lead, make decisions, and implement improvements that have a direct impact on the success of the office. What You Will Be Responsible For Operational Leadership Oversee day to day operations including scheduling, client care coordination, and office workflows Strengthen and maintain clear, consistent processes Ensure compliance, documentation, and operational standards are met Improve visibility into how the office is performing Team Leadership Provide clear direction and expectations for team members Support, coach, and hold the team accountable Address challenges directly and constructively Build a culture of ownership and follow through Caregiver Staffing Support recruiting and retention of caregivers Ensure cases are staffed consistently and effectively Improve planning and reduce last minute gaps Client Experience Ensure consistent, high quality service Address concerns proactively and professionally Growth Support Partner with marketing efforts and referral relationships Support steady, sustainable growth as operations become more consistent What Success Looks Like Day to day operations are consistent and predictable Staffing is reliable and well managed The team understands expectations and follows through Clients receive consistent, high quality care The office is positioned for steady growth What We Are Looking For A strong operator who takes ownership of outcomes Someone who brings structure and follows through A clear communicator who sets expectations and holds accountability Organized and detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Comfortable improving processes and leading change Experience Demonstrated success leading operations in a service-based business, ideally home care, healthcare, or a similarly complex, people-driven environment Proven ability to improve consistency, accountability, or performance within a team or operation Experience managing scheduling, staffing, and day-to-day operational workflows where execution matters Track record of identifying gaps, implementing structure, and following through until results are achieved Experience leading through change, including addressing underperformance and resetting expectations when needed Comfortable making decisions, prioritizing effectively, and taking ownership of outcomes Important This role requires someone who is comfortable taking responsibility for how the office performs and is motivated to build a strong, well run operation over time. You will be supported, but you will be expected to lead.
