Court Planning Manager

Grant Funded Position (estimated timeframe one year) Reporting to the Tribal Chief Judge and Tribal Court Operations Manager, the Planning Manager will be responsible to manage the day-to-day activities involving the strategic planning and working with the tribal court planning team along with (OJJDP) Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (TTA) providers. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans focused on the well-being, empowerment, and advancement of tribal youth within the tribal community. This is a part-time position for 30 hours per week with benefits. Develop comprehensive strategic plans aimed at addressing the unique needs and challenges faced by tribal youth and the community. Collaborate with tribal leaders, community stakeholders, youth advocates, and other relevant parties to gather input and ensure alignment of strategic goals. Conduct research, data analysis, and needs assessments to identify key issues affecting tribal youth and inform strategic decision-making. Design and implement initiatives, programs, and interventions to support the holistic development and success of tribal youth. Establish performance metrics, benchmarks, and evaluation criteria to assess the effectiveness and impact of strategic initiatives. Monitor progress, track outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure goals are met and objectives are achieved. Cultivate partnerships and leverage resources to enhance the reach and sustainability of youth-focused initiatives. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff members and volunteers involved in youth-related programs and activities. Serve as a liaison between tribal leadership, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and other stakeholders involved in youth development efforts. Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and policy developments related to tribal youth issues and incorporate relevant insights into strategic planning processes. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, youth development, public administration, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning, program management, grant management, or related roles, with a demonstrated track record of success in youth development initiatives preferred Full Time at 30 hours per week (grant funded position)
