On average, the affiliate builds and renovates 100 homes in the Los Angeles region each year, ranking it among the largest affiliates nationwide. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Foundation Relations Manager is responsible for securing private and corporate foundation funding for Habitat LA's programs and activities and oversees the grant management and development process for our Corporate and Foundation Relations team. SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Manage a Personal Portfolio of Foundation Funders Responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and management of a donor portfolio of 25-35 foundations in the range of $5,000+, conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage timely grant proposals and sponsorship requests to private, public, and corporate foundations; building up our mid-level donor base. 2. Administration of Grants and Data Oversee the grants management process, including but not limited to tracking all donor communications and activities, maintaining the grants calendar, compiling data, collecting success stories and narratives that support proposals and reports, and ensuring accurate donor records. 3. Grant Reporting and Budget Monitoring Prepare, compile, and coordinate the submission of all components of grant reporting, including narrative reports, expense reports, and budget modifications that align with funding objectives, and ensure that all documents are submitted by deadlines. 4. Events Support Support Resource Development team in implementation of signature events as well as other donor activities, including volunteer days, third-party events, and donor recognition events. Lead or support volunteer days for foundation and corporate donors. SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, background check, (credit) authorization, and a driving record check Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in foundation relations, grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development. Demonstrated success securing and managing foundation and/or corporate funding opportunities. Experience managing grant processes including proposal development, reporting, donor stewardship, and deadline management. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling proposals and reports. Strong organizational, project management, and relationship-building skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using donor databases or CRM systems preferred. Ability to support donor engagement activities, volunteer events, and occasional evening or weekend events as needed BENEFITS

Pay Range:
$26.44 - $31.25 Salary offers are based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, experience, and qualifications. Offers are between the entry to mid-level range.
