POSITION TITLE
Disbursement Coordinator - RPHP Program The RPHP Disbursement Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Renter Protection and Homelessness Prevention (RPHP) Financial Services program. They will maintain financial records, prepare reports, budgets, and reconcile accounts. The Disbursement Coordinator will also assist with audit preparation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Provide support to RPHP to develop and maintain financial records for the program Support Program Coordinator and Manager with chart review to ensure accuracy of financial records Provide QA and Finance Departments with support for the RPHP program. Assists Finance Department personnel to prepare reports and/or month end invoices pertaining to the finances of the RPHP program. Assists in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements relating to finance. Other duties as assigned by leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
: AA level or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1-3 years of experience with public funding contacts including Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, Department of Health Services, etc. Experience in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Google Sheets/Docs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organized and detail-oriented Able to work independently and a part of a team Experience in social work or related field preferred (but not required) Knowledge of CES Programs, HMIS, and EXYM is a plus. Experience working with homeless individuals and/or community-based organization. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
