The ADT Program Manager is responsible for the oversight, development, and implementation of programming within Ann Storck Center's Adult Day Training (ADT) and Victory Living Program (VLP). This role manages the TAFT grant component, coordinates recreational activities, and ensures the delivery of meaningful, structured curriculum across both the Fort Lauderdale ADT and VLP programs. The ADT Program Manager ensures services are engaging, person-centered, and compliant with all funding and regulatory requirements while promoting skill development, independence, and quality of life for participants.Areas of Responsibility:
Program Oversight & Management Oversee daily operations of the Fort Lauderdale ADT and VLP programming. Ensure programs are structured, engaging, and aligned with participants' individual goals and service plans. Supervise and support program staff, ensuring effective implementation of activities and services. Maintain compliance with APD standards, grant requirements, and agency policies. Monitor program performance and implement improvements as needed. TAFT Grant Management Oversee the implementation and compliance of the TAFT grant component. Ensure all grant deliverables, outcomes, and reporting requirements are met. Track participant engagement, progress, and outcomes related to TAFT-funded activities. Collaborate with leadership on grant reporting, data collection, and program evaluation. Ensure proper documentation and alignment between services provided and grant requirements. Curriculum Development & Implementation Develop and implement structured, person-centered curriculum for both ADT and VLP programs. Ensure curriculum promotes life skills, social development, vocational readiness, and independence. Adapt programming to meet varying ability levels and individual participant needs. Evaluate effectiveness of curriculum and make adjustments to improve outcomes. Recreation & Activity Coordination Plan, coordinate, and oversee recreational activities, community outings, and special events. Ensure activities are meaningful, inclusive, and aligned with participant interests and abilities. Promote community integration and social engagement opportunities. Ensure safety protocols and supervision standards are maintained during all activities. Staff Supervision & Training Provide supervision, coaching, and support to ADT and VLP staff. Ensure staff are trained in program expectations, documentation, and participant engagement strategies. Conduct regular team meetings and performance check-ins. Support staff in implementing best practices for working with individuals with disabilities. Compliance & Documentation Ensure accurate and timely completion of case notes, attendance, and required documentation. Monitor documentation to ensure it meets funding and regulatory standards. Collaborate with QA & Compliance team to address any identified issues. Prepare reports and documentation for audits, inspections, and grant reporting. Communication & Collaboration Serve as a liaison between program staff, leadership, families, and external partners. Communicate program updates, participant progress, and any concerns to appropriate stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuity of care and services. Miscellaneous Assist with special projects, events, and agency initiatives as assigned. Participate in community outreach or events to promote ASC programs. Supervisor Responsibilities Acts as a role model (what & how you do things) and is a good active listener. Highly ethical in all situations, using effective problem-solving techniques. Impacts and develops change positively. Delegates and monitors tasks and responsibilities in a reasonable manner. Provides opportunities and training for promotion. Utilizes motivational techniques. Keeps people informed using various effective means of effective communication. Plans and leads effective meetings consistently. Addresses personnel-related problems calmly and by not taking things personally. Utilizes progressive disciplinary action effectively. Performance Evaluations are completed utilizing Performance Logs, Merit & Disciplinary Action Statements, comparison to previous evaluations soliciting input from peers & individuals served, distributes & reviews supervisor rating sheet. Ensures performance evaluations are thorough and complete and that the review is effective. Ensures applicant interviewing is effective thorough & legal. Updates job descriptions as job duties and responsibilities change for staff.MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Supervisory or program management experience preferred. Experience with grant-funded programs and compliance requirements preferred. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and documentation systems. Valid driver's license and ability to transport participants as needed.WORKING CONDITIONS
: Duties are performed in a combination of classroom, community, and office settings. Requires standing, walking, and participation in activities and outings. May require occasional evenings or weekends for events or program needs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
