Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time administrative position of Director, Foster Grandparent Program.POSITION DESCRIPTION
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this is a highly responsible and complex work involving full responsibility for the supervision, operation, budgets and control of theAmeriCorps Volunteer Program:
Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) within appropriate guidelines. Works with very limited supervision, making decisions without referral to a supervisor, except in unusual cases. This is a full-time grant-funded administrative position and is dependent on external funding. Applicants for, and employees within this position are subject to criminal background checks.QUALIFICATIONS 1. A
Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline is required. Master's Degree preferred. 2. Three (3) years of experience in fundraising, social service programs, or related experience in an administrative capacity is required. 3. Must have valid driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and a personal vehicle to be used to monitor sites. 4. Background check clearance required.STARTING PAY AND HOURS
Salary Grade 1 on the Administrative Pay Scale, ranging from $37,550 - $46,950 per year.BENEFITS AND PERKS
