This position is not eligible for overtime (exempt); however, the city has a compensatory time leave program for employees that grants leave time for hours worked in excess of forty hours. DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to provide overall management and administration of LFUCG grants from federal, state, and other sources in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations, and conditions that govern their use.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor¿s degree in a field related to the job Four (4) years of related experience Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Prepares grant applications, reports, plans and other documents as needed to secure, manage, and administer grants in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations, and conditions that govern their use Develops and maintains public and private partnerships to identify availability of funds and other forms of assistance for the benefit of LFUCG¿s provision of services Develops, implements, manages and administers grant programs and other programs in compliance with regulations and agreements Maintains related computer information systems used to track, monitor, and manage grants and grant funding Supervises, trains and evaluates the work of subordinates, as assigned Performs related work as assigned
