Job Description
Landmark Nursing Center of Hammond is a skilled nursing facility located in Hammond, La. Facility has a bed capacity of 150 patients. Accounts manager position responsibilities and duties are as follows: Serving in a Department Head position within a top rated skilled nursing and rehab facility that also caters to custodial care Residents. Work close with families and patients throughout the admissions process and followed through in the coordination of care with the nurse case manager and social workers' offices, while simultaneously meeting corporate and state deadlines for billing and regulation. Partnering with the Admissions Coordinator to verify coverage and streamline the admission process for patients, therein after coordinating benefits and continuance of care based on patient needs with the Nurse Case Manager and Therapy Department. Upon completion of successful recovery, collaborating with the Social Worker to ensure safe and appropriate discharge from facility. Orchestrate the billing and collection of private receivables. Aide patients in the application process for Medicaid and maintenance of LTC Medicaid coverage- including the analysis and resolution of Medicaid generated issues in coverage of billing for prior and current years.
