Position Summary Information Responsibilities Work daily with grant Principal Investigators (PIs) to ensure efficiency in grant funds management. Complete and submit monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reports to federal and state agencies to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and foundation guidelines, including the Restricted Mississippi Budget Report. Reviews and approves all purchase requisitions in alignment with approved budgets and University procedures for grants. Reconciles and invoices for grants, then submit reimbursement requests to University Accounting for drawdowns. Reconciles and request draws for all Title IV programs, including the Federal Pell Grant, Federal SEOG Grant, the Federal Work Study Program, and the Federal Direct Lending Loan program. Provides monitoring to ensure that funds are spent in accordance with contract and/or grant agreements as well as University policies. Generate and process journal entries. Process accounts payable checks/direct deposits, student refund checks, and payroll checks/direct deposits. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field is required. A minimum of one to three years of experience in finance and grant accounting is also required.
