Job Summary:

This is a Department Head position responsible for administering policies and rules regarding safety, security, and facility operations and maintenance for the Grant County Regional Airport. Responsibilities involve liaison and public relations work in dealing with federal and state regulatory authorities and with users and tenants of airport facilities. Manager administers the day-to-day operations of the airport facility and performs a variety of related work as required. Duties are to prepare financial activity forms and other monthly Airport Commission meeting documents, negotiate and administer contracts and agreements with tenants, and secure timely payments, conduct inspections, prepare grant applications, and monitor airport improvement projects. Manager is responsible for hiring, supervising, training and scheduling employees or volunteers.
