$48,000 - $52,000 + Benefits About the Role We are seeking a motivated and early-career Development Manager to take ownership of key fundraising and donor engagement functions within a growing mission-driven organization. This is a fully remote position reporting directly to the Executive Director, with regular collaboration with the Board of Directors. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in execution, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about making an impact in nutrition education, food security, and micro-economic development. Key Responsibilities 1. Annual Fundraising Management Develop and implement the annual fundraising plan aligned with organizational goals Manage donor communications, appeals, stewardship, and acknowledgments Coordinate and execute fundraising campaigns and events (virtual and in-person) Maintain accurate donor records to support personalized engagement 2. Individual Donor Cultivation Build and manage a portfolio of individual donors, with focus on $1,000+ gifts Support leadership in strengthening relationships with existing donors and prospects Conduct research to identify new donor opportunities and segments 3. Grant Writing & Portfolio Management Manage a diversified grant portfolio (foundations, institutions, family funds) Develop proposals, track submissions, and ensure timely reporting Maintain a strong grant pipeline and ensure compliance with deadlines 4. Donor & Funder Relations Support planned giving and endowment strategies alongside leadership Develop donor communications including impact updates and recognition Assist with materials for donor meetings and presentations 5.
